» The moon was missing from the night sky; a previous full moon still dangling in the air with the actions of last night's tower meeting. Now tonight was dark; not completely; but it would be soon. Within moments her wings would be opened for the evening. The light disappeared from the city and a flutter of feathers hitting the wind crashed the lights back on. She took half a second to catch her balance as the wind blew her the other way.
» As she entered the well lit building; she saw a few eyes fly to her as she had spread her wings and let them appear more fake than real. They appeared to brush off the edges of the door as she made her way through it. Her jeans clung to her body as she made her way easily through the place. She made her way directly to the back of it; knowing most of the eyes that bore into her were more curious about the large white wings behind her rather than her actually being there.
» But she had a determined look on her face as she sat down at a table with a few other guys there. Most of them just glanced her way before returning to their conversation. Then she turned as she carefully reached back; putting on a good show as she folded her wings with her hands; very carefully to make it look like they were still fake and they stayed snugly against her back.
» She twisted in her chair; earning a few other looks as her eyes turned toward the door. She was here waiting for someone. For Atlas. She hadn't seen him in a little while because of the new moon and was hoping he would come soon. With a quiet sigh; she turned her attention back to the table; watching the others play their poker. She had never cared for it but found this place better to meet Atlas then at the Strip Club; even though he would be there when she worked. With a small smile; she leaned back; feeling eyes slowly begin to peal away from her as though the women with the large white wings had never existed.

As the full moon rising slowly, knowing Danni is waiting in the bar, he attempts to evade the vampires around the area the best he can. As a well known Lycan leader and current overseer of the Covenant, his invisibility to vampire eye is key to his success as well as his survival through each night.
As the area quietens down he knew he was about to become late for his meeting with the dark angel as he stares deep into the full moon, his body slowly changing; bones and muscles extending, tearing, opening for new tissue, a much more beastly form as the pitch black Lycan monster had turn from every-day human into a creature not known by most and fear by everyone.
Sprinting across the landscape towards the casino he howls long and loudly at the moon, the moon giving him the strength he needed to sprint the whole distance across NYC and eventually reaching the casino. Not knowing that he was spotted by vampire eye – though too fast for any to catch him – he finally reaches the casino.
Turning back to his human form, looking as if absolutely nothing had happened, he calmly steps in and looks around for his girl, until, after only a few shorts minutes he spots her bright wings almost glowing not far from him as he pulls up a seat next to her “hey babe, sorry I’m a little late” he says quietly, knowing there vampires behind him but also knowing that they don’t even know who hides beneath the hoody next to the beautifully dark angel

» She glanced up when se heard him scooting a chair up beside her; kissing him and smiling before turning her attention back to the others at the table. She had taken to watching them play their game while she was waiting. But now she had something else to focus on. She turned her attention back to him; pulling her feet up so she was sitting cross legged on the chair and facing him. The smile on her face genuine. Danni's hair was curled slightly; more of because she was expecting to be called into work but probably wasn't going to be called in. They had plenty of others there that could take over for her. She had given instructions not to be disturbed tonight; saying that she had some things that she had to do before she could come in again.
» Now sure this had been a lie; but only a small one. She wanted to spend some time with Atlas before the academy curfew kicked in. She slipped off her own chair and onto his; carefully making her wings appear to fall out and fold back in as she sat on his lap. She glanced toward each of the other people in the Casino; her eyes seeking something; but none of it gathered her attention for longer than a second. A vampire at the casinos main bar; her eyes narrowing slightly as it turned; watching her. She simply turned her gaze up to Atlas as she sat on him. Don't be. I wasn't going anywhere. Her eyes twinkled as she glanced toward the vampire again. She found a curious feeling well up inside of her but became a little less caring as the creature continued to watch her. She curled her fingers against Atlas's arm; turning her gaze down to what her hands wer doing as though she was shy because the creature was watching her. » But then she glanced upward; looking toward the group of Lycan's that she had been sitting near before. The vampire knew who she was and she would be confronted. She could sense it. Most of her group had taken sides with the vampires and not the Lycans. This creature wanted to try and show her what the difference would be between fighting for them and fighting for Lycans. It drove her crazy how many vampires approached her because of her not choosing there side; and instead pretending she was a regular angel. A guardian angel. She was the only Dark angel with white wings because she was meant to be the leader. She was waiting to meet the other angel; the one who was supposed to be her counter part. But she had a feeling she would be one of the first angels to break that law. Her brown eyes twinkled as she looked up at Atlas again. She was hiding those emotions. The ones that had given her the appearance of a fallen angel. Her wings would take longer to show; but her eyes gave it away and so she carefully moved them to look at the vampire. She pretended that it was gathering her attention and curiosity that the creature was here; in the center of Lycan territory.[/blockquote]

As his arms wrap loosely and softly round her waist, he looks over to where she’s looking, knowing there are obviously a few vampires lingering as one glares right at Atlas. The vampire’s cold dead eyes seeing straight into the soulless hollow shell of Atlas’s body as he exchanges the tense gesture with a brief glimpse of the razorblade-sharp fangs that has won him countless centuries of survival and battles.
He knew that the freedom of the angels hung in the balance between Lycans and Vampires – but he also knew that is exactly how he was able to succeed in falling in love with such a dark angel in the first place, and how she came to love him equally as he reminisces of the nights he spent attempting to break her free from vampire imprisonment; after seeing her face once and falling madly in love almost in a heartbeat he sacrificed life and limb to save her in every literal meaning of the term, not surrendering until his word was truth and honesty.
As he snaps out he reminiscent dream he turns Danni’s head softly with his hand, kissing her slowly and passionately for the vampires and Lycans alike to see, hoping it would break the gaze of the night stalkers lurking at the side; those hunters of blood whom constantly and mindlessly crave for angelic companionship. Atlas, however, never cared much for companionship…not before he met his first and only ever true love, who he had now been with for decades, shortly after the first covenant had fallen and he was the one to bring it up from the ashes of its former self, giving the Lycans the glory and pride they need to strengthen their numbers and forces.

» Danni gazed at him with her brown eyes; smiling as his hand touched her gently and she kissed him back. Her eyes twinkled when she pulled away and she sat there; watching as the creatures turned their gaze away form them. Something she was glad to be rid of. Her smaller fingers curled between his as she sat there; a happy look finally resting upon her. She raised gaze up to the ceiling; watching the lights twinkle. They reminded her of very bright stars; which drove her just slightly crazy. There was something her that didn't fit. And for once it wasn't the vampires. She glanced around; catching no other angels. at least no dark angels. All the angels that were here had a soft white glow to their ski; something she lacked. She lowered her gaze; a feeling of dis-belonging as she sat here with silence in the air hanging as though it was warding her away. She looked up toward Atlas; her eyes changing from hurt to love before flickering back as she looked away. She was becoming depressed; the same way she was when she was kept with the vampires for such a long time. She was undead; as was Atlas, and the Vampires. But she was different. She had the choice of leaving this earth but instead decided she wasn't ready and decided to wander alone.
»Danni slowly stood up, kissing Atlas before letting go of his hand. I'll be back soon. She said with a smile as she let her wings slowly unfold; attracting a little attention; but it didn't matter because most of them here were either Lycan or Vampire. She glanced sideways as a vampire headed for the door; and her knees locked as she made her way toward it; but instead on staying away. Vampires couldn't touch her. That was the unsaid rule. The last time one tried; the vampire became ash. She wasn't sure how it worked; but she was glad it worked that way. She glanced toward the vampire as it reached for her and she moved away from it. I will talk; but don't even think about touching me. Her eyes narrowed as she glanced back toward Atlas, mouthing a silent "i love you" and exiting. She turned quickly toward the vampire and her eyes flashed; wings out and hands on her hips. She watched Avolon with her brown eyes. His own icy eyes returned her glare as she broke the silence. What do you want? Avolon just smiled and reached for her; stopping suddenly; remembering what would happen if he did. How are you? Surely you don't like coming here with them. He answered. She didn't say anything. She did and didn't feel she needed to explain anything to him. She glanced toward the door; only wishing that Atlas would be the next one to walk out of it.

As Atlas glanced over at Danni walking toward the door, keeping a close eye on the vampires at the same time, he quietly snarled over, returning yet another glare from vampire scum from across the casino. As he spotted Avalon getting up he kept his eyes firmly locked onto him. Finishing his beer he gets up, moving a little closer to the door but not close enough as the others vampires move forward. The Lycans at the pool table began noticing this as they pause and glare over; something was about to kick off, and Atlas wasn’t about to let his beloved Danni be caught up in the vampires treachery once more – not after last time.
Noticing things were about to become much uglier, as he grabbed Danni’s hand softly within his own gentle grip he lead her out the casino, ignoring the vampires on their way out as Avalon merely stood at the door trying to lure Atlas back in “What’s wrong Atlas?! Too afraid to stay? Maybe you should run to daddy to come help you then” he says as Atlas stopped dead in the street, the rain crashing onto him as the moon and stars remained the only things above the rooftops as he couldn’t bare to even move; memories of his father rushing back to him as he kept Danni’s hand gently within his own before turning to face Avalon “Danni saved your life this time” he snarled before running off into the night and deep into Lycan territory, Danni still by his side as he runs.

This ain't a song for the broken hearten. »»» Danni felt relief flood over her body when Atlas came for her. She gripped his hand as gently as she could; wings rustling against the breeze. Her white wings caught the breeze and she was nearly knocked backwards as Atlas was taking her away but managed to keep her balance by gripping his arm. When Avolon called after him; she tensed; gripping his arm a little tighter; hoping it would remind him that those two couldn't fight. Then she looked at him with her large eyes; catching Avolon's cold gaze on her. He would find her later. But until then; she was with Atlas; and would be for as long as she could tonight. Her fingers slid between his own and she looke dup at him. After that; all she could remember was being with him. She felt like they were practically flying by how fast they were going; and all she could do to make sure her wings remained unbroken and undamaged was to fold them tightly against her back. Her muscles in the wings ached from being held so tightly; and she was forced to slacken them a little.
»»»When Atlas was done running; Danni smiled a little. She felt bad for releasing his hand but had to; stretching her arms; wings unfolding easily as they fanned out to their full width and large white feathers ruffled. She glanced behind her as a feather fell away and blew off in the wind. She winced; staring after it with her brown eyes before looking at him with a gentle smile on her face. She attempted not to let the feather appear to have bugged her as much as it did. She hadn't told Atlas anything about her wings or what that meant. But she had a feeling he would piece it together on his own once her wings faded. She glanced downward; beginning to feel bad for not telling him what was going to happen to her. Instead she sat down on the ground; wings positions carefully so she could sit up straight and comfortably. Occasionally she would let them flick from where she sat; watching them as they rustled against the ground and then silence fell again.
»»» Danni leaned back; looking up at Atlas as she held her upper body up with her hands positioned just behind her and elbows locked. She let a small smile touch her face as she watched him. Atlas? She waited for him to answer; and when he did, she continued. I love you. I'm sorry I haven't told you this before; but I'm... She didn't know how to explain it. I'm turning back into what I was before?... no that didn't fit. I'm becoming a fallen angel again? that would take too long to explain... but she figured it was the only thing she could tell him. She looked up at him with big brown eyes. I'm becoming a fallen angel again. She said softly. She glanced down at her lap. The reason? The stress the other angels put her through; the nightmares she had of the vampires. The vampires approaching her constantly and threatening the only things she held dear.[/blockquote]

After having ran so far from vampire’s territorial limits, Danni by his side he found a quiet spot next to the lake in which his family had first visited; a peaceful area where nothings but the surrounding trees could ever find them as he smiled down at Danni, kissing her perfectly sweet lips ever so lightly as he smiled still against them. As he heard her utter those words, he simply sighed and nodded “if it is what you must do, then fine, but know I will still be here for you no matter what, fallen angel or dark angel, I will let no vampyric hands be laid upon your body” he said with bravery behind those words, kissing her softly again he just looked at her, hoping that this change wouldn’t mean the end of his relationship with her. She was too dear to him, he couldn’t let petty threats overpower the only girl he could ever love.
After Danni had fallen asleep softly in his arms he very gently lays her on the grass after hearing a rustling in the hedge, not knowing what it could be. A few seconds later, another was heard in the bush opposite as he already knew what it was as he whispers “If you’re trying to hide Avalon you’d make others vampires disgusted, now come out here and prove your bravery or leave now” Atlas said, quietly but with pride as he shows no signs of fighting, not with his lover mere inches away sleeping ever peacefully.

» Her body was numbed sitting there listening to the sound of the water lapping against the shore. She felt a strange comfort she had long sense learned only happened when she was with Atlas. She had kissed him back; loving the way they felt when they did. But now she was comfortably dozing against his shoulder; her head nestled in close and her wings carefully wrapped around her back and sides; keeping her warm from the cool night air. She felt that she was placed on the ground; but didn't wake from her slumber; wings simply rustling as she tightened them around herself. Her face was gentle and completely angelic as she laid on her side with her wings encasing her body. Nothing was shown except for the top of her head which stuck out just barely from the top of the wings. But she rustled a little when Atlas spoke; his voice comforting her yet when he spoke of Avolon; all she could do not to snap awake was tense her muscles and wait out whatever was happening. She carefully opened her wings as best she could; wingspan spreading to be the exact length as she was tall. She slowly laid on her side; simply watching Atlas with her soft eyes; curling her fingers against the grass that her cheek laid against. She looked up as Avolon stepped out; eyes focused on Atlas but gaze occasionally lingering on her. She laid her wing over her body; an uncomfortable feeling trickling down her spine as he watched her. She just watched from around the wing; like someone would peek out from under a blanket in a horror film.

Failing to notice the awakened dark angel behind him, Atlas continued cautiously discussions with Avalon who seemed ready to pounce any second, so Atlas remained weary and restless. “You do know that when your precious Danni becomes a fallen one again, she will return to us whether she likes it or not” Avalon says proudly as Atlas snarled “Not if I have anything to do with it, she won’t!” as Avalon just looked at Atlas and sniggered “Really, Atlas, you never learned” he paused before glaring down at Danni, Avalon knowing she had awakened just in time to hear the conversation as he stared coldly into her eyes “What’s a hound with no master – or in your case mistress – to keep him on the leash” he asked rhetorically before starting to leave before finishing his statement “…a miserably old stray” he called back as Atlas began snarling wildly, about one second away from turning and lunging at the vampire he finally noticed Danni had awoke as he knelt down next to her “hey babe, you OK?” he asked, trying to get his mind of the vampire’s words as he lay next to Danni, losing himself in her eyes once again.
