Danni couldn't help but feel tears well in her eyes as she listened to what Avolon said. That was something she had never wanted to hear. Just the thought of it depressed her so much her wings darkened slightly in color and appeared slightly like they were covered in dust and dirt. She slowly sat up; now realizing that Atlas had yet to realize she was awake. She watched Avolon quietly as his gaze locked with hers as he spoke and her heart felt like it was breaking all over again. Her eyes turned toward the ground as she felt bad; her tears slowly leaving black streaks down her pale white marble face. She glanced upward when she heard Avolon exit through the vegetation. But it wasn't Avolon who had made her want to look up. It was Atlas. She wanted to know he was all right and when he began to snarl savagely; tears rolled down her face. She didn't want to leave him. Couldn't bare the idea. Her brown eyes seemed devastated when he looked at her; realizing she was finally awake.
Danni simply watched him as he knelt at her side and threw her arms around his neck; the tears lingering against her white face. She looked at him; watching as he lay down; but she felt as though she couldn't be bothered with the thought of relaxation. Especially not after what she had heard. That was something she hoped she would never have to do again. Something she didn't want to do again. She wanted to stay with Atlas! She pulled her legs up to her chest; pushing her knees against her chest and wrapping her arms around them. Her once shining white wings appeared duller, a silvery gray as she wrapped them around herself. That was an angels comfort place. When they were scared; lonely; or depressed; they would just wrap their wings around them and everything would seem just a little bit better. But this time it only let Danni in the darkness. She couldn't help but start to cry as she noticed the loneliness that tore at her. She didn't unfold her wings though. The battered appearance of them being known as she winced in pain. They hurt. Another sign of a fallen angel.

As Atlas felt himself falling asleep, Danni still by his side, he began dreaming. A dream which had already happened; one of when Atlas became the savior of Danni the first time around, after having saved her from the vampire clutches and ran from their shaded hideout. He remembered, within the dream, something he had forgotten within the wakened world – it was Avalon who had scarred Atlas’s chest so severely, when he rescued Danni initially. His dream caused him to turn and turn, not violently, more mere restlessness as he couldn’t bare to stand the thought of having to go back there, but was still willing to for the sake of his dark angel lover. Fallen angel or not, Danni was still in love with Atlas, he and every other Lycan alive could see she was and he was not about to let a vampires words and cunning overrule his lover and his own life. The vampires had threatened that which was dear to Danni, Atlas would just have to do the same directly back at Atlas
However, to his misfortune, when Atlas awakened he noticed it was already too late, for when he awoke he was not where he slept. He had been carried through the night, into a dimly lit cavern shackled to the floor like some form of mad beast as hooded figures surrounded him. He was powerless, lonely and without his lover as Avalon dropped his hood before Atlas. Without a moments rest Atlas began snarling and roaring like a demon at him, fighting the shackles all he could, but to no avail as he was unable to move as Avalon merely grinned at him and muttered “I told you that you were no more than a miserable stray, and now look; I have shown you my proof”

She had awaken in a strange place; one that she hadn't seen for what felt like years. Her wings darkened to a grime silver and she was officially changed. Those one beautiful white wings were completely transposed with a gross silver set; ones that appeared to be battered and beaten; the feathers molting constantly as she moved them sadly. When her vision adjusted she looked around; pain in her dark eyes as she attempted to stand; only finding it nearly impossible as she was bonded to another female sitting in the dark room. She glanced at the woman's face; her orange hair hiding it carefully and a painful realization touched Danni as she slowly reached her unbound hand toward the girl. She snapped her face up and Danni instantly started crying. She could recognize those blue eyes anywhere. But they weren't as kind as they had been the day she had been rescued. Now they were filled with a cold pain and longing that had never been filled... that had never been helped or rescued. Hail Dian looked at her former friend with her ice eyes; tears welling in them as they threatened to spill over. But she held her gaze and instead just glared at Danni. There was betrayal written across her face before she turned her head away; tears in her eyes and pain rippling through her entire body. For the first time in decades; she had seen Danni without Atlas and for the first time in decades; they were suffering together. But that wasn't about to fix anything and it didn't either. Danni had left; promising to help her. Swearing if she could get anyone out it would be her that she would work hardest for. Since then; her hatred toward the Lycans and her leader had been fed and then shattered; killed and rebuilt again. Not once had she heard her leader was coming. Not once did she hear news that she was going to be helped. Not once did she try to reach news out to Danni because she figured she was too busy plotting to get the rest of them out to get disturbed. The tears touched her eyes again and fell like a river from her marble face. The two angels were staring at each others; jaws dropped; eyes wide, one with hatred, the other with joy, and both crying. Their marble faces were stone and black streaks marked along their cheeks. Danni stared at her; slowly reaching her hand toward the other angels unbound hand; and instead of taking it she pulled away as violently as she could have. Danni was fairly certain she could have ripped her arm out had the motion have been any more violent and unexpected. She closed her eyes; the tears that had nestled in the corners of her eyes slowly fell down; rolling down her porcelain like face leaving a thick black streak before rolling over her lips; leaving the normal white water trail and turning back to black when her it hit her chin. She slowly reached toward Hail Dian; wincing as she moved away violently. Then she blurted out. I'm sorry! She watched the orange head spin back toward her; icy eyes hard and glaring at her with a hatred only known between captive animals attempting to survive. She wanted to know what was on her old friends mind and only hoped their friendship would be renewed. Hail sat where she was; her deep icy eyes glancing painfully around the room as someone walked in front of the door and she pulled back violently as the door began to open. It was one of the older vampires and a shape shifter; their gaze focused rather on Danni than on herself. She felt a sense of loyalty pulling herself to her leaders aid; but instead of just her being taken; the shapeshifter yanked roughly on their bonded chain that bonded them at the wrists, wing, and leg. They moved together as one; folding their wings in as they exited the door and Danni looked around her; wincing in pain as she watched many of her fellow angels sitting in rooms similar to her own. They were only called on when their strange powers were needed; which didn't happen often or when a vampire needed something to feed off of and could manage to tame the angel before feeding from her. Hail Dian glanced at Danni as her hand covered the side of her neck as if she knew what was going on but Hail simply rolled her eyes. She knew that wasn't going to happen. For as long as she could remember; most vampires had feared these two vampires. Apart they were nearly vulnerable but together they were the most powerful pair. That was the other reason why they were desperately hunting for Danni whenever they had extra time or others to spare. Danni glanced toward Hail and slowly let her hand fall; reaching for the angel again. This time she gained a look from the angel. She touched her hand softly; a motion of sincere apology between angels and tapped her palm twice. The hurt angel's eyes glistened only for a few seconds before she nodded slightly. That was when Danni knew she was forgiven. They continued walking behind the vampire with the shapeshifter behind them. The friends wings seemed slightly healthier just being together. Danni's were a little brighter and Hail's were a little dark. The shapeshifter noticed this and roughly grabbed each angels farthest wing and pulled sharply back wards. Danni was first to go down; her body crashing to the floor insanely hard only to have Hail land atop of her arm and a scream of pain from both angels echoing through the prison-like building. Hail and Danni rose as one; helping each other as best as they could and sending a dark glare at the shapeshifter who had harmed them. His eyes narrowed as well as he stepped foward threateningly and both angels returned to their solitary following of the vampire. Many of the angels in their rooms were slowly making their way to the caged door window and gazing out. When they saw Hail they began to turn away until Danni came into view. Then whispers began to ripple down the entire hall and around the next; saying that their leader was back.Hail glanced at Danni; finally feeling at peace. The angel had confirmed her thoughts; she had been planning on a way to save them all; not just the one but she had not brought it up to Atlas. She was silently glad that she hadn't told him. She had a hatred toward him for taking away her other half and had become even more depressed than ever before; mostly because she didn't have Danni there to turn to. She had spent most of her days at the academy alone with Danni in the same building while the vampires guarded her and made sure that she couldn't leave while they were waiting for Danni to become what they needed for her to be before her powers could be harvested and used against the Lycans again. Using Hail and Danni together was the greatest combination in a long time; the two friends having bonded as friends and learning to use their powers together. Danni stopped suddenly and when Hail took a step forward; tripped; landing them both on the ground; a painful cry echoing from both angels as their shoulders were dislocated. It took a few moments as they looked at each others shoulders slowly examining each others wound. Then the creak of bones sliding against each other; the pain was gone and everything was set again. They stood yet again as one; the shapeshifter was staring wildly at them as the vampire merely smiled. Danni was first to enter the smaller doorway; taking back her place as leader as Hail followed behind her; head held high for the first time in many months. The first thing Hail made out in the room was Avolon; the only thing that took Danni's attention and breath away was being grabbed roughly by a shapeshifter as she ran at Atlas who was changed up on the other side of the room. Her eyes were filled with tears as Hail was taken as well; grabbed just as roughly as the bonding chain was undone. Danni was lead to the center; just far enough where she couldn't touch Atlas and she couldn't touch her. Her arm was and leg were bruised where the chains had been from falling twice and being harmed by the chains. Danni was forced onto her knees and she looked at Atlas with her brown eyes; gently and carefully watching him; wishing she could do something but needing Hail's help. Hail simply stood there; staring at the thing that had taken Danni away the first time and would surely do it again. Danni sat cross legged on the floor near Atlas as close as she could get and Avolon had the shapeshifter leave her alone. She slowly slipped forward enough where she could touch his hand gently; watching him with pain in her eyes. Danni winced as she was pulled back roughly by the wings and was forced to stand; glaring at Avolon. Her eyes twinkled with a certain hatred that could only be earned after many years of war. Why are we here? Avolon stood with his hands behind his back; watching Danni first with his silver blue eyes and them turning his attention to Atlas; his eyes meeting the other mans as he knelt down just out of his reach so he was eye to eye with him. You are only here to see how close you two can be and yet how far apart you can feel. You won't understand true loss until you lose each other for good. Danni lashed forward; tears welling in her eyes as she gazed at Atlas with pain; hating herself for what she had done. This was her fault; completely her fault as to why they were now standing here in the same room but feeling more like they were worlds apart. Her chest ached as she slipped backwards; slowly lowering herself to the floor as the Shapeshifter that had a tight grip on Hail let go. Hail slowly crossed the room; kneeling down next to Danni and taking her hand quietly; watching as the Shapeshifter behind them latched their chains together again. But Danni didn't move. She didn't look at any of the others in the room. She was staring at Atlas with tears in her eyes; slowly reaching forward to him again; mumbling and murmuring words befoure touching Hail's arms and looking at her with eyes that could see into your soul. All Hail could do was nod before scooting forward so they both were kneeling in front of Atlas as close as they could get without being pulled back. Avolon snickered and rolled his eyes; turning his gaze away from them. Danni gently kissed him; brushing his hair away from his forhead and gently whispering into his ear that she would be all right and that she would be back. The to of them just looked at the creature before them; completely aware that they were being watched by everyone and then everything went dark. Danni stared at him in the darkness; hugging his frame with her small arms as she started to cry quietly; murmuring again before whispering words in harmony with Hail. A brief flash of light and the sound of someone yelling in the background to grab them. Atlas was now safe from them. The angels had given him something that wouldn't allow him to feel the pain they caused him and then they were ripped backward so roughly Danni was pulled way and the lights flickered on. She waved slowly to her love; her eyes hiding away the pain she was feeling as she was being pulled away from Atlas. She stopped again in the doorway as she was led out; her eyes catching his to assure him everything would be all right. Hail touched Danni's hand before they moved onto the coridoor. Danni moved slowly through it; constantly being urged to go faster and she couldn't help but stop and wince each time. She wanted to cry her eyes out; to stand there and scream and demand to go back to Atlas; but all that would end up doing is upsetting someone. So she was led away from the door. A scream of pain echoed as her wing was shut into the door; most of the bones snapping and crunching and she shoved it back open; pulled it through and collapsed to the floor. [/blockquote]

As Atlas remains shackled to the floor, Avalon appeared from nowhere with 2 other vampires under his control, staring down at Atlas like they were lords and he the peasant as Avalon smirked, sniggering under his breath slightly before kneeling to Atlas’s eyesight “I see you woke up then” he muttered as Atlas just stares coldly into Avalon’s gaze, not speaking at all before Avalon continued “We have a few surprises for you, Mr Dayer, 2 of which will be shown to you later” Avalon leaned in close and whispered into his ear “we wouldn’t want you waiting too long here, would we now?” he said, before Atlas lashes out, twisting round his head and biting as Avalon’s ear, tearing part of it off with his fangs, the moonlight shining in just enough for Atlas to turn partially. Harnessing the moon, Atlas’s jaw and eye began showing as the true monster he truly is, snarling vicious as Avalon jerked backward, whilst cupping his hand over his ear in pain, blood spilling down his face yet Avalon showed little pain in compared to the wound as Atlas spat out the bit of ear, spitting it into the drain that was there, obviously meant for blood and other human parts vampires intended on removing from captives as Atlas currently controlled its use as Avalon’s ear dropped into it like a used bit of toilet paper.
“30 lashes for his insolence!” Avalon roared as one of the lower vampires marched over, emotionless and silent before readying the whip behind him. Powerless, Atlas grit his teeth silently as the second lower vampire left with Avalon before the lashes began. The first one the most powerful, Atlas roaring loud enough for the entire building to hear as the strikes continued, after about 15 his back was numb to them, but only partially as they kept striking him, blood spilling from the wounds as he was already drained of energy after the 20th lashing.
By the time they were finished Atlas was unconscious on the floor, awakened hours later only by the very vague and blurry sight of 2 angels being lead through the room. As Atlas’s vision began focusing, he noticed only one orange haired angel, not fully knowing who she was. Before long, he recognized the other – Danni. His energy was suddenly replenished, the moon still bright in the midnight sky as he resumed roaring and snarling like a crazed animal, attempting to force his way out the shackles but to no success. Seeing Danni’s tears he was rendered weaker again, now only wishing to assist his lover, knowing already that this was all just a trick by Avalon as Danni was lead to the center of the room, the moon no longer fueling him as he just looked on at Danni in sadness, ignoring Avalon entirely as his eyes only saw Danni on her knees before him, his hand very faintly touching hers as he whispers to her softly how her loves her until his last breath had been drawn. As Danni questioned Atlas on why they were both there he finally registered Avalon, not responding until Danni leaves as he hears Avalon’s answer.
Beginning to snarl again he glares up at Avalon with pure bloodthirsty hatred as Avalon kneels behind Atlas, whispering just loud enough for Danni and Atlas to hear him but nobody else as he grins darkly at Danni as he speaks to Atlas “Look at her, Atlas. So fragile and tender; this is what you took from us vampires thoughtlessly on that fateful night. We had our just revenge but your lesson was never learned – you still insisted on staying with your supposed love, you even had her fall in love with you in return… does it hurt, Atlas? Does It hurt to see how close you 2 can truly be, yet without the ability to touch each other?” he mutters, still holding his dark grin toward Danni as he pierces Atlas already severely wounded back with his razor sharp nails as Atlas roared out in agony Avalon continued “This pain you feel, is it equal? Equal to the one you feel when you know I was the one who took your father, and now, your lover? Granted, your lover will be not killed like I did your father, but I’m sure your lover would make such a fitting bride for me…now she’s without a guardian of her own now, isn’t that right?” he finishes, waiting for Atlas response as he mutters back, again, loud enough for Danni to hear him whilst simultaneously gasping for air “You should be careful, Avalon…I promised my father revenge, and the next time you try approaching me, your other ear will belong to me too” he says before Avalon removes his nails from Atlas’s back viciously “hmph. We shall see about that!” he grumbled before leaving the room, Atlas and Danni together and alone.
After a while, as the lower vampires picked Danni up off the floor, urging her to move to the corridor, Atlas gave all he had to stop them “no, NO! GET BACK HERE!” he roared his loudest, allowing the moon to fuel him entirely, turning his face entirely, just not the rest of him yet “I’LL KILL YOU! I’LL KILL YOU ALL!!!” he roars as he watches Danni be forced away from him, Atlas left alone in the room as the door closes. Once the door is closed, his struggled attempts off freedom never stopped; constantly trying over and over and over again to free himself, as the chains vaguely moved farther. He stopped as he heard the chains strain under his might as he paused and smirked, thinking himself Now they are strained, with more strength success might not be too far away as he continues still, more and more, never giving into his pain at all, Danni remaining on his mind every second of the remaining night…

Danni and Hail were moved to a larger cell; needed mostly for Danni's newly broken wing. Both she and Hail Dian were completely exhausted; and the thought of Atlas took away the little energy she had left. Her chest ached to be with Atlas; knowing he was only in the room next door; their cells being closer to each other to torture them. Danni had refused to lay down or sit down; causing her bonded arm to be extended and hanging all the way down as she stood near the cells window. She had been listening to what Avolon had been saying to her sweet Atlas. When the room was empty; she carefully reached her arm out of the barred window; her hands just small enough to slide in and out with ease. Her malnourished body making it easy for her arm to slide into the bars of his window as well. A tear rolled down her face as she said his name softly; hoping to get his attention from inches that the wall seperated them. Atlas? Atlas are you okay? She said softly; her eyes saddened as she received no reply. Could he hear her? Was he still in that cell? She pulled her arm back as quickly as she could; cutting it on the concrete block between them and cursing a little as she wiped away the crimson liquid that was slowly trickling down her arm. The door to their cell had begun to open and a curse was all Danni said as Avolon entered the room with two shapeshifters. Danni stood watching the vampire with a defiant look as her eyes sharpened. She didn't want to be here and instead was more interested in leaving and being set free with Hail and Atlas. Hail slowly rose; watching as Avolon signaled for Danni to be gripped and taken away; pausing and realizing that Hail was needed as well. They were lead away from the door; Danni's broken wing being cradled against her side. She let out a scream of pain when a shapeshifter forced the wing open; thinking she was hiding something. Avolon snickered; stopping at the door of Atlas's room and slammed it roughly to awaken the creature. Danni was lifted; her hand against the door as she watched Atlas. Hail simply rolled her eyes and then they were taken away. Danni seemed rather reluctant to be taken; tears rolling down her marble like face as she watched Atlas fade from her view. She called out to him; saying she loved him and would forever as she was taken down the hall; wing being held awkwardly all the way down the corridor. They were lead into a room and the door locked behind them as they were forced to their knees on the floor as Avolon sat in front of them. He didn't speak; but instead watched Danni as though he were contemplating many things.[/blockquote]

Still chained to the floor Atlas looked up briefly as he heard Danni’s voice trying to talk to him, unable to speak as he attempted to get and fell back to the floor, unable to move much. As he lays where he is, wondering to himself how this even happened as he starts questioning himself. Was this his doing? Did he make this happen for Danni and himself? Would this result in the destruction of the covenant? So many questions to go unanswered, perhaps this was it; the end. The end of his covenant, the end of his ruling. The end of his lover and the end of himself….
Snapping out of it, he shook himself into reality again. No! This CANNOT be the end, many a time have the vampires attempted seizing hold of Lycan figures and many a time have they failed. Atlas was one who would not let them win, not if he had breath left within him.
Before attempting to break the chains a final time, he hastily spotted Avalon and the shape shifters heading down the hall toward the cell next door to his own. Not moving, Atlas waited to see what they were doing as he soon after watched them leave with Danni and Hail Dian down the hall to another room. Avalon knew Atlas was watching yet didn’t care as Atlas remained silent. The moment Atlas had the chance he suddenly jerked the weakened chain with all his might, jerking it free and silently unchaining himself. As he contemplates what next he devises a plan. As he drops the chain loud enough for a shape shifter outside the room to hear he sneaks behind the cell door. As the shape shifter runs in and finds no chained Lycan he opens the door, only to be delivered a powerful hook to the throat, weakening his vocal chords and stopping his chance of calling out before quietly dragging him to the chain and binding him to the back of the cell door. By the time he awoke, Atlas was already away and the cell door locked shut with the guard inside.
He did it. Atlas had broke free, but he wasn’t out yet. He refused to leave until Danni was with him as he knows exactly which room she is in as he moves down the long narrow corridor, starting to jog, then final run and the brief exposures of moonlight are enough to turn him not too soon before lunging into 2 lower vampires, tearing their throats apart with his Lycan claws, he continued on down the hall. The door at the end was sealed and locked tight, but Atlas knew – with enough force – it could be broken. Charging as fast as he possibly can, bracing himself he lunges shoulder first into the door, throwing every inch and ounce of strength he has into it as the door is removed straight of the hinges entirely, the Lycan falling onto his side within the room before standing back to his feet. Now with the entirety of the moon before him, Atlas stared right at Avalon without even a hint of mercy or even ignorance as he braced himself, snarling like the beast the moon had made him right beside Danni. Nothing would stop him now as Avalon called upon his guards, only to look down the corridor to find them all dead. Not one had survived Atlas’s brutal rampage as Atlas never once removed his eyes from Avalon, stalking his prey, ready for Danni’s command to feast…

Post by HAIL DIAN TRAIKE?! on Aug 7, 2010 19:06:55 GMT -5
Danni slid back as far away from Atlas and Avolon as she could get; her bright eyes shifting back to the Shapeshifters who were holding her and Hail. They changed and leaped at Atlas; a scream erupting from Danni's throat as Hail gripped her tightly; attempting to make sure she wasn't getting in the way or attempting to jump in. Avolon jumped up quickly; grasping the chain that bonded Hail and Danni and dragging them from the room. He didn't touch either angel and was careful about it; locking them tightly inside a cell complete with shackles and all before racing out of the building. Danni instantly began screaming; her wing being slammed roughly into the wall and she slipped to her knees and silenced again; eyes distraught as she glanced outside the window of their cell and winced. The smell of smoke and the light of flames in the night. Danni sat on the ground watching them them lick up the side of the building. She watched the flames with a defeated look. Would Atlas manage to find them in time or would Avolon make sure that they were going to die? Her eyes turned to the ground as she traced a pattern in the dirt. She sighed softly. She was so depressed she couldn't find the urge to fight the shackles. Hail didn't try to move either; both angels slowly curling up side by side in the middle of the room; staring at the hot metal that had begun melting but it wasn't going to do any good with the door latched shut. They didn't move. Instead she was forced to attempt to calm herself from the tears that formed. She had wanted to spend as long as she could with Atlas; and now she was staring a second death in the face.

Growling at Avalon he leapt for the 2 shape shifters heading toward him, slamming them both to the ground, snarling and biting at them as they both struggled to recover their strong stances, launching for Atlas once more. Lunging again, clawing one of them out the way, it was only after a few minutes til Atlas realised there was fire nearby. As he continues fending off the shape shifters he forced his way toward the corridor, searching every room for Hail and his beloved Danni. She was nowhere to be found. As Atlas continued searching, the moon still fuelling his Lycan rage, he tore open every door trying to find the 2 angels, one of whom he could never leave behind.
After a short while, he ripped open a door, finding the angels in the corners. Still within his Lycan form Atlas gently picked both angels up in his overpowering arms, carrying them towards an exit. As no doors were found open, he merely waited for the only surviving shape shifter to rush for him again before he launched him into the nearest window. With the window smashing open Atlas lunged through it, finally killing the shape shifter outside the burning building before hastily leaping back into to pull the 2 angels out of the weakened structures that was once the Vampire’s main hideout.
Lying on the grass a short distance from the burned building, Atlas lay on his side, turning back into his human form, blood-written and scarred with Danni in his arms and Hail next to him as he slowly rested. Not sure whether this was death or not, he merely rested still, shortly falling into a deep sleep, not even able to stop his eyes from closing as he remained on the grass, his scars plaguing his back still bleeding from a combination of the whip and the shape shifters attempts of restraint.

Danni held to him and didn't let go; her small arms clinging to him as she laid there; unable to attempt to let go as tears rolled down her face lightly. Her face was buried in his chest. As she laid there; her eyes fell closed; broken wing still hanging limply behind her but she didn't let it bother her as she held him with a gentle gaze that was focused on his eyes before she ran her fingers down his back and his chest; only to feel a sharp tug on her chain. As she turned; she saw Hail laying on her side facing away from them and she turned lightly; hugging her friend who let out a sob of relief. Danni smiled a little and hugged her still; not letting go because this had been the first time in ages she had been brought out of this building without a vampire to keep an eye on her.
